Fake Beauty Tips from Edition-2

How To Improve Your Ishtyle
Why face challenges when it comes to beautiful skin? Why spend so much money on make up? And mostly why take so much time to choose when Half Cup Chai can give you some secret tips to achieve all the above? By using the right elements, one can walk in to Femina Miss India without so much as a smudge of lipstick!

So here are some easy tips to maintain healthy hair and skin.
A homemade recipe for healthy skin:
All you have to do is, make a mixture of the following and apply on your face.
1) Sleeping pills – Beauty sleep is the best recipe, and thanks to classes who has the time to sleep?
2) Feathers- To make skin softer than ever
3) Water- To ward off the evil eye, obviously!

And girls always remember… One does not simply leave their homes forgetting the most important thing. Cello tape. To tape your smile of course!
<< This is what you’re looking for.

Other useful ingredients and tips for hair and skin:
1) Vanishing cream- For stubborn pimples that just won’t go. Just don’t apply too much; we don’t want to see a headless Carmelite walking around the college.
2) If you have head-lice make sure you get dandruff too. Then the lice will eat all the dandruff and die, and the dandruff will be cleared because it was eaten up! Dandruff acts as cocaine for lice.
3) Keeping a Mohawk hairstyle gives you a very electrifying look and all eyes will be on you. If you water the grass Mohawk regularly, it might even grow some flowers! But sadly this hairstyle isn’t easy to maintain, thanks to the inconvenience called ‘sleep’. Add more sleeping pills as mentioned somewhere above in the recipe.
4) For jet black hair apply lots of tar. It gives a sleek and wet look …. For added shine, apply black shoe polish preferably the brand “Cherry” as fruits are very hair friendly.
5) If you want brown hair then allow your hair to drink some of your coffee, don’t keep pushing it away, it has feelings too you know…

Lastly, if you have no other go, you can always pray to god. At the end of the day he’s answers our prayers right? Also! Remember to use the following mantra-“I whip my hair back and forth” and head bang. Repeat till you feel ill.

Overcoming the impossibility of amazing

If you set your bar at "amazing," it's awfully difficult to start.
Your first paragraph, sketch, formula, sample or concept isn't going to be amazing. Your tenth one might not be either.
Confronted with the gap between your vision of perfect and the reality of what you've created, the easiest path is no path. Shrug. Admit defeat. Hit delete.
One more reason to follow someone else and wait for instructions.
Of course, the only path to amazing runs directly through not-yet-amazing. But not-yet-amazing is a great place to start, because that's where you are. For now.
There's a big difference between not settling and not starting.

Read this somewhere, some blog. Thought you ought to read.

My Misery

As I lay in bed,
With scatterd thoughts in my head.
The chilling wind through the window blows,
My beautiful, haunting past never let goes.
When I try to smile, the solitary tears flow,
Reminiscence of you and the dead red Rose,
Fills my mind with magnificent yet saddened woes,
But all I feel right now is my blocked stuffy little nose.

mirror

Every day in life,
Sometimes you are happy,
sometimes sad.
But when was the last time you
looked inside at the real you?

You look into the mirror every day.
When you glance at it,
it gives a  reflection of you but,
Put your face against that mirror,
Can you see the one,
The one that is the real you?

What you see on the outside?
Adornment on skin,
that only mask the torment within.
So ask yourself before you look into a mirror,
"Is this really me?"

You think that you don't really see yourself.
Actually you don't want to see
what you are really going through.
You don't want to watch yourself in pain
or in that deep sadness that hurts you.

All you want to see is that pretty face
with the adornments  mask the torment.
It makes you happy to see smiles,
although it is not how you feel.

But you are betrayed
because in the end
the mirror reflects the real you,
it reflects you true feelings and you cant help it.
Even lots of ornamentation wont conceal anything.

Every time you look into the mirror
you are seeing the real you.
Every morning and  every night,
Every day of the year.

Wild Geese

The speaker in this poem is speaking to a listener who believes that he does not belong to this world and he is feels out of place. The listener thinks that he does not fit into this world of things so he does not love himself or like what he is. The speaker advises him to let his heart love what ever it wants to love. The speaker also asks him to share his problems so that they can find a solution for his problems. I think the speaker also tries to tell the listener that it will take some time to find his place in this world because it will take time to figure it out. But in the mean time the world wont stop rotating just because you did not find your pace in this world. Nature will still continue with its seasonal cycles and pass from summer to winter to spring and to autumn, clouds will still pass over prairies and trees and mountains and rivers.
The speaker tries to tell the listener that everyone makes mistakes but he should move on with life learning from those mistakes instead of repenting. The world will still rotate and do its job though we sit and repent about our mistakes. By saying that, the wild geese are "flying home again", the speaker tries to show  the listener how time passes although and we also should move on with life and learn from our mistakes. The world is also a place of imagination so even if you really don't have a place in the world, at least you can imagine a comfortable place where you might fit in because "the world offers itself to your imagination".
Then once you find you space in the world then you can always go back to it just like the wild geese that know they have a home every time they migrate. The title "Wild Geese" refers to the freedom that the birds have and a confidence that they have a place in this earth and a home they can come back to. It also gives a message to the people saying that they should move on with life even after committing mistakes because the world does not care about you and that everyone has a place on this earth but they only have to find it that space.

Wild Geese

Wild Geese, Mary Oliver
My interpretation
Life can never be a swan: pretty, dainty and elegant. There always exists that raging incitement full of uncertainties beholding truth of what life really is. Its like that of a wild geese "harsh and exciting". The world opens up with its wildness that radiates beauty and freedom. Its so barbaric in its attire, yet it holds its place on earth. So is life in its beautiful way, unpredictable, consisting of those moments where you freedom stands in front of you yet you cant have it because of that line society has engraved.
we are meant to be good, follow some one else's words and then it would make us part of their existence, part of this world. but i feel that Oliver is opening our minds to how should really be lived. We, should be like that 'wild geese', letting that animal within us free. Being unafraid to let ourselves be.
we must be like that of nature just as we imagine where every part, the stones the mountains the forest the meadows are so different and still have a place then why cant we. why are supposed to be that of what we are expected and not 'us'.
thus, we should be ourselves and know that we still have a place on earth.

Prelude

He stared ate the darkening clouds deep in thought wondering if everything was just a dream, a nightmare that was haunting him.She was dead pale;her once rosy cheek at his moment was white as frozen snow with her eyes half closed. Her stomach was stabbed with a shimmering knife stained with blood and her heavy clothes drenched in red. He looked at his hands covered in Brenda's blood.Gazing at the outlying sky would not earn Brenda back to life. As he gaped at he obscure heavens, up in arms, he saw the intense grey clouds unshackle their tears. He soon felt the reassuring rain on his skin, sharing his grief.
