A Peek
Into My Room
If there was ever a prize for “Most well kept room ever” my
room would never see it. Even if I did win that prize, the trophy would
probably get lost in there somewhere. My room isn’t messy, it’s just a little
disorganized. You see, my pillow area acts as a mini library during exams, and an
accessory store, when I forget to take off my earrings at night, while my
old toy cupboard houses things that I haven’t used in years.
Leaving aside the mess, the one thing that can easily catch my eye is my vision board. Some time
ago, I had watched a documentary about “Laws of the Universe” and basically,
that’s what inspired me to make my vision board. It has everything that I could
ever dream of. It motivates me, and every since I made it, I could literally
feel the universe rearranging itself, like the documentary said it would.
Especially since some instances that I put up came true, like the time I
brought home my Yamaha keyboard or when I went on a trip to the Himalayas!
The biggest thing that motivates me that’s on my vision board
is the “LOADING…” signs I put up. Cheesy, but effective. Basically, I put up
mainstream stuff like a beautiful house, flying cars etc. And then there are
some things that I put up that aren’t mainstream, that I really would like to
see in my future, like my job, people whom I want to meet and so on. The board
ends with a quote “Do not let anyone ever tell you the sky’s limit. There are
footprints on the moon! J.”
