Wild geese
In the first two lines Mary Oliver says that its ok if we
are not good at what we do an we must not punish ourselves by walking on our knees.
She also tries to convey to us through her poem that the world will accept us
no matter what. We must continue doing what we love without stopping to think
how people will judge us. we must be
free like the wild geese and do what we think is right. There is always someone
to share our feelings with, by doing so we will find companions in each other. We
are all unique in our own way. We must look at the brighter things like the
mountains or prairies or the wild geese and see the beauty in nature which we
most often ignore by drowning ourselves in worries and fears. We must live like
each moment is our last and live life to the fullest without regretting it.
