Past. Present. Future.

“The past, present and future.”

They are not only three states of time but also three states of being. Three states of existing. I do not believe in living in the past or the future. The past is something we have lived and it is something, we humanly, can not change. The future is still to come and I do not think any power can predict what it is going to be. But the present, it is something we are living through. The tiny moments of now that make up our lives.

Some people can never let go of the past and sometimes it is the one thing they will do anything to forget. But the past is gone and dealt with and there’s no point worrying about it or trying to change it because nothing you do now can possibly change what you did in the past.

While some other people spend their whole lives worrying about the future, planning it and trying to predict it. But in reality, the future can never show itself before it’s time and no one can ever know what it holds until it shows itself. The future is, in fact, always changing. The future is the home of our deepest fears and our wildest hopes. The future is something that is never what we expect it to be. The future is never what we imagined it to be.

The past and the future are two things we should stop living by. We should live in this very moment, in the present. We should live now with every passing second and we should give it our best so that we do not, in any way, regret it at any point of time. The present is what constructs us, moulds us and makes us who we are. We should live our present to the fullest, making sure that with every passing moment we do everything to the best of our capabilities. The present is now.

Go on now, it’s now. Go do something remarkable. That will make you, you.
